Distal Mover Design

The design of the Distal Mover results from the main objective to develop a fixed and functional appliance based on the already well-working and reliable Jasper Jumper.

The Distal Mover's advantages compared to the Jasper Jumper:

  • only one Distal Mover for both sides, right and left - one size for all mouths
  • one-piece design with no sharp corners or seams
  • simple and safe integration in the mandibular by special Distal Mover-wire screw, to main wire or partial wire and by Distal Mover-headgear screw to the maxillary
    •
  • For repairs on the mandibular piece, the mandibular screw can be loosened and the Distal Mover temporarily can be attached to the maxillary arch. After the repair the Distal Mover has to be attached to the mandibular arch again.
